Alja-Safe™
In addition to being an exceptional body molding material, Alja-Safe™ alginate does not contain free crystalline silica (a known carcinogen*). Alja-Safe™ also captures detail better than other alginates, giving you a more accurate reproduction of your original.

Alja-Safe™ is mixed 1 part water to 1 part Alja-Safe™ and,like all alginates, is best mixed with a Jiffy™ Mixer. Working time is 7 minutes and demold time is about 10 minutes (assuming a water temperature of 80°F / 27°C). Colder water will give a longer working time, warmer water will cause the alginate to cure faster. Alja-Safe™ reproduces fine detail and makes and excellent temporary mold - good for one or two reproductions of any body part. You can then cast plaster, Matrix™ NEO™ (polymer modified gypsum) or Smooth-Cast™ 300Q fast urethane resin into the mold to make a reproduction.

MoldGel™ - FiberGel
Formulated for professional high-production, high-end detailed E F/X work. FiberGel is independently tested 40% stronger than the leading brand because it contains a patent pending duo fiber matrix. FiberGel stays where you put it, too. The fibers not only add tear resistance and strength, they prevent runs and drips. The fiber matrix retains moisture reducing shrink rate keeping your mold soft and flexible far beyond normal alginates. This allows for delayed casting times without the loss of detail. FiberGel firms in 4-5 minutes in 80°F. water with a mix ratio of 16 oz. of water to 5 oz. of powder. The unique formula allows an even, creamy, one-coat coverage. Poly Skin-Wax

METHODS OF USE: Skin-Wax can be poured into just about any type of mold with the exception of Latex that will be softened by continual uses. Most heat resistant resins and metal molds are also suitable, however, a small trial casting is always recommended to be sure castings release satisfactorily and do not damage the mold material. Skin-Wax cannot be burned out because of its high mineral content.
