Adhesives Index

These pages are devoted to adhesive products specifically designed for repairs and mountings.
They are divided into several categories based on material and consistency.

  • Polyurethane - based products are ideal for repairing mold rubbers or adhering a variety of products together with a flexible bond. The materials is two component and possesses good durability while being flexed.
  • Polyester - based products are ideal for stone in a protected environment. Designed specifically for marble and alabaster, polyester adhesives are simple to use, possess excellent bonding strengths, and cure rapidly at room temperatures. These adhesives come in a wide range of colors including a non-yellowing clear. Specialty products include an extra-penetrating formula for deep cracks and crevices, and spackles designed with pre-colored material for travertine and limestone.
  • 3M Spray Adhesives
  • Cyanoacrylate Adhesives
  • WeldBond - glue seems to be good to gluing almost anything - see the "Extended Technical Information" on our Weldbond site.
  • Gorilla Glue
  • Hot Melt Glue Gun & Glue Sticks.
  • Epoxy - based products are superior to Polyester- and Acrylic- based formulations, because they provide maximum bonding strength, minimal shrinkage, outstanding weathering characteristics and resistance to temperature change. Epoxy-based products should be used for all outdoor projects. They are available in flowing and knife grade. These products may be used to bond one stone to another or stone to another material. Flowing products are for use on horizontal surfaces for filling, bonding and laminating natural stone. Knife Grade or Paste products are for use on vertical surfaces. Spackles are considered to be of Knife Grade.
